When does the Golden Age start?
Everyone is talking about it, but nobody knows when it starts. I get an impression that many believe that it "will soon come". Maybe now or within some years or maybe within 10 years.
All those Indigo Children are "the new ones" that will lift the world to the golden dimension.
But I also get an impression that people have been expecting the kingdom of God to come "very soon" for at least 2000 years. Or waiting for Jesus. So...?
That´s what I wanted to find out and first I went to India Divine. They have picked out 15 verses that they like, by Vedavyasa in the Bhagavata Purana and I just wrote it down here.
But there was nothing about the Golden Age and I wanted to see all the verses so I went to vedabase.net Shrimad Bhagavatam 12.2.
When the constellation of the seven sages is passing through the lunar mansion Maghā, the age of Kali begins. It comprises twelve hundred years of the demigods.
Well, it is usually said that Kali Yuga lasts for 432.000 years and it began 5000 years ago.
(Is 360 years for us one year for a demigod?)
When the great sages of the Saptarṣi constellation pass from Maghā to Pūrvāsāḍhā, Kali will have his full strength, beginning from King Nanda and his dynasty.
The very day that Lord Śrī Kṛṣṇa departed for the spiritual world, the influence of the age of Kali began.
I thought that the end of Kali Yuga would be the end of the world (universe?) but here it doesn´t seem to be even the end of our world, because:
After the one thousand celestial years of Kali-yuga, the Satya-yuga will manifest again.
If 432.000 years are 1.000 celestial years, then one celestial year would be 432 earthly years. So 432 years form a celestial cycle = the whole wheel around!
That could be the reason why the numbher 432 is emphasised i BhagavadGita, where every verse has 4 lines and 32 syllables.
So Kali Yuga is 1.000 celestial years. Then I just take for granted that Dvapara Yuga is 2.000, Treta Yuga is 3.000 and Satya Yuga is 4.000 years. That makes 10.000 celestial years for the whole thing to go around..
I had got the impressiopn that the whole world would crash at the end of Kali Yuga, but ... obviously not:
The cycle of four ages — Satya, Tretā, Dvāpara and Kali — continues perpetually among living beings on this earth, repeating the same general sequence of events.
Det är ont och gott, förvirring och visdom, som står och svajar mot varandra och ibland vinner den ena och ibland den andra. Ondskans och okunnighetens period avslutas med att Kalki rider upp på scenen och avslutar allt elände, som Kali har orsakat.I found a debate forum where I pick out parts of the text.
The age of Kali-yuga is said to start from the year 3102 BC, after the disappearance of Lord Krishna. Lord Caitanya appeared 500 years ago, at which time the Golden Age within Kali-yuga is supposed to start and last another 10,000 years.
Kali Yuga started at 3102 BC .
Golden Age started 500 years ago
and will last 10.000 years.
Kali Yuga lasts 432.000 years.
and will last 10.000 years.
Kali Yuga lasts 432.000 years.

At the end of the Golden Age the lower modes of material nature will become so strong that people will lose interest in spiritual topics. People who are spiritual will be ridiculed and they will flee the cities to live underground in caves or high up in the mountains, or simply disengage from the earthly plane of existence.
I took pieces from "pilgrim" on the Forum of David Icke. Well, isn´t this already happening ? The Christian katars were hiding on the high cliffs, the hippies tried to get away from the ordinary society by forming coollectives in the country-side and now we have the electro-sensitive people who hide in the forests.
Why is society so awful that people have to hide from it? Well, just look at the TV-news!
The pharmaceutical industry is corrupt and so is the big food industry (with Monsanto!) and so are the politicians and the medical doctors. And so on. YouTube is full of these stories and so is Newsvoice.
It is exactly in the way that it is described in these old books (which were originally oral tradition).
Wealth alone will be considered the sign of a man's good birth, proper behavior and fine qualities.
Men and women will live together merely because of superficial attraction, and success in business will depend on deceit.
Womanliness and manliness will be judged according to one's expertise in sex.
A man will be known as a brāhmaṇa just by his wearing a thread.
A person's spiritual position will be ascertained merely according to external symbols.
One who is very clever at juggling words will be considered a learned scholar.
A person will be judged unholy if he does not have money.
Beauty will be thought to depend on one's hairstyle.
Filling the belly will become the goal of life.
Earth becomes crowded with a corrupt population.
The citizens will flee to the mountains and forests.
Harassed by famine and excessive taxes, people will resort to eating leaves, roots, flesh, wild honey, fruits, flowers and seeds.
Struck by drought, they will become completely ruined.
Struck by drought, they will become completely ruined.
The citizens will suffer greatly from cold, wind, heat, rain and snow.
They will be further tormented by quarrels, hunger, thirst, disease and severe anxiety.
So-called religion will be mostly atheistic.
The kings will mostly be thieves, the occupations of men will be stealing, lying
Lord Kalki will appear in the home of the most eminent brāhmaṇa of Śambhala village, the great soul Viṣṇuyaśā.
Lord Kalki, the Lord of the universe, will mount Devadatta and, sword in hand, he will kill by the millions those thieves who have dared dress as kings.
After all the impostor kings have been killed, the residents of the cities and towns will feel the breezes carrying the most sacred fragrance of the sandalwood paste and other decorations of Lord Vāsudeva, and their minds will thereby become transcendentally pure.
When Lord Vāsudeva, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, appears in their hearts in His transcendental form of goodness, the remaining citizens will abundantly repopulate the earth.
When the Supreme Lord has appeared on earth as Kalki, the maintainer of religion, Satya-yuga will begin.
